Nope, no shotgun slugs for me, but then again, shotguns and firearms in general aren't that common in Australia.

Ditto.

ODP - is the van running? Is it standard or automatic? Is Ms. Tacklebox face still conscious? This are important questions.

Lance, I recommend searching Ms Tacklebox for a dartgun, and, if you find one, shooting yourself with said gun.

That way you'll join me, and you hafta know we'll win.

Don't worry, Barak. As soon as ODP starts up a thread for me, I'll get that postcard, turn myself in with an apology, refund the money they spent on postage, and clean up our cell a little bit before you regain consciousness.

Kishi, that's the spirit. Throw yourself in front of that dart. Us darted will win the day.

Sadly, they seem like they hold a small magazine in the grip.

ST - the way your back is burning with pain in several places, you think you've either been hit by a shotgun blast, or by shrapnel from an explosion. Of course, you don't exactly have professional experience, so it might be something else.

Also guys, I'm really sorry - I forgot to bring my flash drive with all my game data today. Updates will be late tonight or early tomorrow.

I can still hope. I know that luck (or bad luck) plays a good part of most games....

ya know like silly things - they forgot to load the magazine clip, so they only have the 1 shot each. a malfunction in the gun keeps it from firing anymore. Kavern (sp??) walking around a corner causing them to trip over their own heels.

I can hope...

No wonder the thing put me to sleep, the magazine in question is probably the National Review.

Yay? No no no, Nyo my friend.... see, ODP is most likely trying to get us all in the same place... so, since you're there, all by yourself... expect extreme resistance.

No, mid 50's with grey hair.

I'm still debating whether to frag this guy or not, depends on what he does next, but if it's wrong I'm gonna beat him down.

Oh yeah ODP, I did actually think of a way for you to get me to America, if this is set now, as in right now, I leave for America in about a month and a half, so if you fast forward in game time, like a training montage :P I'll be over there.

:doh[1]: forgot to include the flash back details.

during the first campaign of immortal for both ODP and I, the GM had a plot that involved the kidnapping of Chicago's Cardinal Bernadine (continued sp??). About 2 weeks after the game had the Cardinal disappear, the real life Cardinal died. The in game description was very close to the real conditions.

Throughout this campaign, several other scenarios started to mimic real life events, some funny - most tragic. After about 5 of these events we decided to never include real life elements ever again in Immortal (at least with that specific group).

Superstitious, hell yeah. But it was very creepy at the time.

I still mentally beat myself up, shouldering some of the blame for them closing Dome Room. :(

'course that was mostly the fault of Mike Landolt, I think. <_<

ST, I strongly recommend shouting, "my lung is punctured. i can't breathe" and thrash around a bit. I believe it works quite well against many ODP plots.

Actually, here's what's going to happen.

#1 - I escape
#2 - I figure out where my clothes and keys and such are
#3 - I escape again
#4 - I drive like a maniac back to my hometown area, and go to the Bluffs
#5 - I freak out for a good.. oh, three, four hours about how I was shot with a goddamn Shotgun at 10ft and not only am I still in one piece, but I'm still alive and kicking.
#6 - I want to get online...

I'm waiting to resolve Lance's next action before I make any statements about engaging the agents against their van as opposed to engaging them inside of their van.

I thought about getting in to the van and trying to jump the driver, but I figured it was a lost cause.

I was pretty sure it was a lost cause anyway, but I figured I'd at least try.

From memory, I don't turn into an animal so much.

Hmm, if it's based on what the creature we were in our dreams is it's gonna be really interesting.

Or I'm gonna be a Panther.

ODP: I am still waiting for answers to the following questions:

Is the van running? Is it standard or automatic? Is Ms. Tacklebox face still conscious?

My bad, Lance! Yeah, the van is not running, but it is an automatic transmission. Ms. Tacklebox face is both conscious, somewhat bruised and angry, but you can react before her and the other agents.

Since puberty, I think. Aussies go through different trasitions than the rest of us.

This I swear: the first time ST picks up a taboo it will be this:
whenever he is tainted, mortals nearby will hum, whistle or sing the Toonces theme song. "He drives around, all over the town, Toonces the driving cat!"

See, my question is thus: why do most of us get folks with guns coming after us, but Nyoibo gets a slightly malevolent Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Is this because you feel bad that he's a pudding?

Note that the moron going after you, while possibly more powerful than the guys after me, was dumb enough to be so slow at it that your "powers" woke up. My guys might have been much weaker, but there was 3 of them and they didn't screw around trying to imitate your mom

Edit: But seriously, I've just been shot twice with a shotgun and then hit by shrapnel from an exploding van, and my throat isn't even scratchy!
