Manatee, that cracks me up. What would be the funniest animals an Immortal could be bonded to?

Maybe Barak chose sloth.

Spider monkey, without a doubt. But that more had to do with Kid Doppler's excellent play.

Other than that, maybe a platypus or a jellyfish.

If I had known what would be wrought by my decision, I would have chosen beaver. I would have been the most fearsome fuckin' beaver imaginable.

Or moose. A killer moose would be awesome.

Now I'm imagining the whole Highlander quickening thing, but instead of running after a deer I'll change into something and go "Wha?"

well duh. hehehe no just some weird coincidences from when I was a kid. My dad worked for the DoD and top secret guys in suits and black cars were a regular part of my childhood. I'm the "white sheep" in my family with blue eyes and fair skin, so I'm used to people saying I'm different. And coolest of all, the Bermuda triangle actually extends across part of Florida, so I was born in it, in a hospital that never existed on a street that doesn't exist. Although the town does. My birth certificate (the official one) is a total fabrication wasn't even signed by a doctor.

In real life do I think I am some sort of shape shifting alien, nah, I'm just a sweet little old lady born in a time when records were not as carefully filled out and my dad was in the military and the bermuda triangle covers a lot of territory. :) )

I have seen a time when a botch would have been good. It involved making a listen check to see if I could hear the Gift of Pan in Changeling. If I'd botched, I would have been safe from it's mind-warping effects. Damn my sharp hearing!

I think Kishi has given us an example of good botchingness. Unconscious is not necessarily a bad thing.

Though to be fair, since I didn't botch the Listen check, I did at least get molested by a nymph. So it was sort of a win-win situation to me, though my character was mortified by the total loss of dignity.

ED leaving Seph's sword behind would have yeilded some very interesting results. :)

How they treat Seph depends on if they can figure out if he's alive or not.

Alright, two things.

1-While she eventually got darted, CV's tactics were pretty darn good. The deception was pretty cool, and I wouldn't have thought of it.

2-After reading Sara's thread, I'm going to kick the crap out of the voice in my head for being a lazy motherfucker, not bothering to talk to me until it was way too late.

Yeah, ditto. My voice only kicked in right before I botched. I'm going to kill that motherfucker, Tyler Durden style! BAM!

Edit: Can the ghost of my failed ambition rise up, grab the dart gun, and tag all the players who are still left awake? Don't get me wrong - it's great here in Sleepyland, drinking whiskey and beers with Barak and Kishi - but it'll be more fun when those non-botching retards join us.

Yeah, poor CV - if she had rolled a 3 instead of a 2, she'd probably have made it to the grainary building, where things got interesting.

And sorry Barak and Lance - you guys just have a lower fuge rating that then others, so you voices don't yap at you quite so much.

I don't know about my fuge rating either. I haven't heard voices in my head, but maybe when it gets high enough the voices are personified into the illusion of some mystical guardian?

That one was an arbitrary roll of the dice, my friend. Fuge rating is how much your past lives try to get in the business of your current life.

The closet has bottles of various antiseptics, and a number of cloth diapers that haven't been used for that purpose for about a decade and a half that will probably come in handy, plus some cotton pads. The drawer has some ankle/knee braces, a couple of large cloth bandages, roll gauze, roll tape, some moist burn pads, and some cellulose acetate surgical dressings for use on burns/large cuts/grazes.

I did not know what a fuge was either. :) Damn I regressing, and I thought it was mummy (hehehehehe - okay its late and I'm giddy)

Yes I am a college professor - but I also practice ninjitsu (another professor is a black belt and gives me the occassional lesson) and tkd (Quint is my personal trainer - when he gets off his butt to do so) and throw a little tai chi and hapkido in there.

Don't think I'm bragging, cause I'm far from expert in any of these things, but I know enough to either get myself in to or out of trouble.

Little old fat ladies can sometimes surprise you.

Hey, nice peaceful place, twins or something... I'm completely crazy, I'm assuming and it'll probably take a bit before I calm down enough to accept any of this as reality...

And I'm not telling a damned person that I've got three people in my head.

I wonder if Andra is cute. Or is Andore the girl.... I have no idea who's who.

Yeah, Andra is pretty cute. Andore would be pretty cute too, if you were into slender dudes.

In ED's defense, he is pretty damn fucked up right now. He might have been able to drag you, but he sure as hell wouldn't be able to carry you out.

And I'm glad someone else caught on to the fact that Saphi is now a slave owner.

I was under the impression that we'd have to carry whatever it was around with us until she found you, and DS's car doesn't exactly have the facilities to pry your blood off the ground, seperate it from mine, and transport it without it getting all over.

Sounds like Druid Scion's car sucks. Maybe they should take a page from ST, go to the police station, get arrested, break out, and then steal a vehicle with the necessary equipment.

I think the problem was not, in fact, getting Will's blood, but separating it from ED's. Besides, the Shadowrun book is faster.
