ProWrestling PBP

So I've been kicking around the idea of running a PBP based on prowrestling. I've been a fan for years and though I only watch it now then these days, I still keep up with the goings on on LOP. Back in the height of the Monday Night Wars I was in a few eFeds and even ran one briefly. So what I'd like to da is mix the rules of eFeds with a PBP format and try to run a game here.
I haven't worked out everything yet, but what I'm thinking is mixing the attributes system of Day of Reckoning 1 and 2 for Gamecube with a more storybased RPG system like Whitewolf's. Instead of doing a weekly format like eFeds which can be very time consuming and a handicap to those with limited online time, I'd like to make the "weekly" show in name only allowing more time for participation in the manner which you'd find in a PBP.
A few rules I can tell you now:
Original character's only. You can loosely base a character on a real wrestler, but not blantanly rip off one by slighty changing the name and catchphrases used. I.E. no Ice Cold Sam Houston a beer drinking S.O.B. from Texas. Parody characters like this may pop up as NPCs but that's because I think it's funny, and saves me time.
This won't be a fantasy game. No magic powers, no elves, no halfdragon characters. Keep things grounded in reality. I will grant leeway if someone wants to make an Undertakeresque character, but this will be limited to smoke and mirrors type stuff. Anyone whose watched wrestling should have a good idea where the line will be drawn.
Special moves can be quite fantastic and elaborate as long as deemed physically possible. Something cool I noticed from previous eFeds was that some of the moves thought up seemed to really stretch human capability, but since it's all pretend and you don't have to worry about people getting killed there is room for creativity. The really weird thing, is moves thought up by eFeds five years ago I thought I'd never see are being done today by some crazy motherfuckers. But I digress...
As of right now, I'd only like for everyone to run either one singles wrestler or one tag team. Managers and valets will also be exceptable when kept within limits. This isn't to say two players couldn't also form a tag team, I just know from experience some people excel at running a tag team by themselves and do it to fantastic effect. Stables will also be allowed just not immediately off the bat.
Some matches results will be for story purposes, other's will be decided at random using my Gamecube games as simulators(mostly in cases where I decide that both participants performed equally well in the lead up) or by me as to who I think did the best roleplays and such.
That's about all I can tell you off the bat. I'm still working out all the minute specifics. I'm posting this up now to gauge interest and get a good idea how many players I'll have so if you're interested say so here.
Oh, the characters Jester, Archangel, and Damocles are taken. They're old characters of mine and will probably be NPCs. And Saph showed interest in playing a character whose name translated into Black Knight in Spanish.

Sounds good.
Edit: No that's actually fucking sweet. Archangel and Jester both do highflying, Archangel in a more Lucha Libre style, Jester having a more Japanese J-Cup type style, those matches will be a blast to write up. Archangel and Jester could be compared to Jeff and Matt Hardy respectively to put it in another perspective.

Some other shit I thought of worth mentioning. Female wrestlers are welcome. Some places will restrict the competition to males only, but I don't see a point in that. What would a wrestling federation on Pimptania be without half naked chicks running around beating the hell out of each other?
I meant to mention this before but somehow forgot, I don't plan on limiting the amount of players. Given the nature of the game it can be run with a ton of people. Actually the more people the less NPCs I have to run.
If you are interested and have a character in mind already, feel free to give a description. Think of it as calling dibs I guess. That way I won't make a similar NPC, too.
If you want to make up a character history, I'd prefer they didn't include time spent in WWF/E, WCW, ECW, or NWA TNA(Or any other well known NWA branches for that matter.) Just make up previous federations. I don't however have a problem with using existing wrestling schools, like the Hart Family Dungeon or Killer Kowalski's school but feel free to make these up, too.

Both are disheartening.
I have actually kept this idea in the back of my head for the last two years now and developed it further to make it more or a roleplaying game than most efeds. Using skills based games as a basis in lieu of class based, treating a wrestler's moveset like a spell list where each move has a description of what it does(the damage and after effects if any), how many moves a wrestler knows based on how much they have in a certain skill modified by the relevant attribute, how a crowd gets behind a wrestler based on charisma and how that would give a moral bonus. Just stuff like that.
