I need a pirate hat to complete my ensemble. I've narrowed it down to a couple of options....however, I'm having a hard time deciding which one I should pick.

There's option one which appears to perfectly match my purple velvet renaissance dress (albeit very a very un-piratey dress). However, this hat has a full costume and the costume page claims it's brown, but it looks purple to me. Maybe it's just how it appears on my monitor?

Then there's option two which will go fine with my black pirate garb AND has a super cute costume to go with it that I'm sure I don't need, but may HAVE to acquire due to it's super cuteness.

Now, as Adventure Girl, my urge is to splurge and get BOTH hats. I mean, a proper Pirate wench needs choices to look smashing while plundering! Not to mention, both hats are pretty reasonable in price. If I got both hats, I'd have to forget about the super cute costume, as I'm already cutting into the budget enough. I DO have plenty of Pirate wear, but then again....there is that need for multiple outfits for keel hauling scally wags!

HELP!!!!!

Option 1 is brown - the color of the photo is just completely wrong and misleading.

I went with either 2 or 3 cause there wasn't any option for either, but not both...

Thanks for the color confirmation....nice to know I'm not completely seeing the wrong color, that it's just their pic. I know that some things differ based on monitor calibration, but that pic totally looks dark purple.

...and an either/or choice would still leave me having a hard time deciding on which one to pic. :P

I voted for number two. It is the superior option.

The correct choice is the one that shows the most cleavage.

You didn't have an option for getting all three. which is obviously what you should do.

I wish I could afford all three. I agree that would be the best choice. :P

The correct answer is that it depends where you wear your hat. I recommend a tricorn hat with a bright handkerchief accent.
