Well, I went and purchased $200 in computer hardware to throw into my existing box. This is what I have right now

The only thing that is no stock is the 7300 GT (256mb GDDR2. Core Bus OC'd to 400 mhz while memory bus is OC'd to 411)

I decided to upgrade that to a 9500 GT hoping that will really boost things.

Found a really Decent deal on a 500 GB HDD. Really needed it cause my music collection is about 100GB alone. With that and all my games i have maybe 30GB free on all partitions.

Nice 32MB cache and 3.0GB rate. Bought a "SATA II" Cable due to this being an OEM product. Who needs the fancy box anyways and cables are dirt cheap.

Next i decided was the RAM. Its so cheap nowadays and PC 4200 are even cheaper yet. Knowing a have about a Micro ATX case i opted to get the heat spreaders as i only have one case fan. Maybe i'll drill my case later to allow for another case fan on the side opposite of the MOBO mount.

I know CNET said my MOBO will only support 2 gig max but i have heard that before with my old mobo and was able to upgrade to a full gig ram as opposed to the 512 that was said to be the max. Going on a whim i got the two gig pair. worse that happens is that i can't use my old ram anymore and have only 2 gigs. Not a big deal, although 3 gigs would be a nice surprise.

Again, housing all this in whats about a micro ATX case i feel the need to resolve a bit of my cooling issue with a PCI Fan.

My only worry is that SOMETHING will fuck up. And i really hope that my PSU can handle all this.

Let me know what your thoughts are. ^_^

The biggest three items that generate heat in your case are gonna be the GPU, CPU and HDD (in descending order).

The GPU can usually be remedied in situations with limited exhaust by using something like the following:

Right now, ATI is dominating the mainstream performance market and I would stay away from NVidia until they get thier shit together.

The rest of it looks good... do you know what your PSU's current peak load is?

I have a 350 Watt PSU. not much but so far so good. Havn't had any problems even while playing crysis or World at war. I am getting another case, mobo, cpu and PSU.

Well, I was finally able to order my new hardware. ^_^

Already got my case

$80 after MIR!! i really enjoy the modular psu. Everything is staying nice and chill in this case.

Really wish i was able to shell out the extra cash for the Phenom 4x but i got a triple core instead.
