Flu remedies, uncle Barak's way

So you have the flu. It's normal, it's the season. But you just started a new job, and are still on a probationary period, and going to the doctor to get a note seems like more hassle (and less pay) than just going to work? Follow the following recipe.

-After work, go to the liquor store across the street from work.
-Buy whatever floats your boat. It -has- to be at least 12 ounces, and at least 80 proof.
-Go home.
-that evening/night/next morning, everytime you hit a long coughing fit, take a shot once the fit subsides. If you start running a fever, take two shots.
-realize you should have gotten a bigger bottle.

It works great, though. I'm fired up and ready for work!

Sounds similar to what I do, just mine involves gallons of beer.
