This movie is the sequel to Transformers. Duh. The autobots from the first film are in it, as well as the deceptecons. The autobots have some new additions, the deceptecons have new additions, and introduces the Evil Prime known as "Fallen."

The film is not thought provoking, adequetly written (complete with overrused cliches), and is looking for a reason to exploit the new Linkin' Park song "New Divide" which sounds alot like the score. The movie is visually pleasing which warrants the comment "I'd like to thank the special effects and computer animation teams for this movie." The continuity is acceptable, ie the former characters are in it, and the storyline has advanced adequately.

If you've seen the first on, you've pretty much seen the second one. I will go onto say, that one bot had some Giant Balls of Steel.

I've yet to hear anything good about this film.

In fact, CNN.com's title for their review was: "Transformers 2: Worst Movie of the Year"

I liked Ebert's review. It started "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a horrible experience of unbearable length[...]"

My little sister saw it last night- her boyfriend is a nerd- and she says Ebert was being too kind.

I wouldn't say "Worst movie of the year" because the year isn't over yet.

I wouldn't mind seeing Megan Fox in that kind of movie.

I thought Transformers 2 was far better than Transformers. It had the feel of a Transformers movie. It had the characters and the plot. It was more than just giant transforming space robots fighting and some dweeby little kid being the center of attention.

Far better than the first one. Still, not a great movie. 6 out of 10 sounds about right. Better than Terminator Salvation, though. That movie just blew.

That doesn't say much for the movie at all.

That's what we get from Uwe Boll too.

That's pretty harsh, LGM. I mean, it was far from a cinematic masterpiece, but I found it entertaining enough, and somewhat reminiscent of the cartoon without, you know, including clips from the cartoon into the movie. I'd really like them to remake the original Transformers movie (animated) with the same voice actors, no "redone" character models, and the exact same script, but with the level of CGI we have available today. That could be awesome.

I was just screwing with you. It's a movie made based on a children cartoon. All they have to do is use solid CGI and explosions and they already made something better than the original content. People are going to review it based on nostalgia which is fine.

Yeah, but comparing it to a Ewe Boll film? That was low.

That was a shot at Michael Bay. It was an unfair comparison. He's more like the Britney Spears of movie makers. ;)

You don't get the plot in an Uwe Boll film, and sometimes you don't get the characters either.
