putting together an evaluation matrix for total BSS/OSS solution proposals, playing lots and lots of TMNT: Turtles in Time during my commutes(The SNES emulated version), and generally just being busy doing chores and running errands.

Actually the boards have been in a furious flurry of activity, it's just that we all simultaneously put you on ignore :P

Otherwise, I've been frantically archive-binging this podcast (in Portuguese), occasionally playing video-games while at it (just finished Super Mario World in my PS2-emulated SNES yesterday), pulling a humongous plot-twist that left everyone reeling at work (that's assuming my life/career is a TV show or something of the sort, which it might as well be), and trying to find something to do at home while my internet connection drops, which has been happening every few days for several hours at a time. Oh, and watching Lost, of course.

I have been crocheting, its great fun. I have almost finished a small blanket that I started one Christmas vacation my fourth year of university, so, two years ago haha. Its only made up of 20, 20'' by 20'' squares, I have made fourteen of them, seven of which I made in the last few months, four of the seven were made the last two days. Really there was no reason to have not finished it by now other than I suck at finishing things. Its my goal to be able to use it at least once before the weather starts to warm up. We will see if it actually happens.

No, its quite impossible for that to happen without planning it. I would know if I was lol. I just have old lady/pregnant lady hobbies, I can also knit and do cross stitch.

Worked my ass off....put together a final presentation for Computer Applications class...dealt with Dude Dogs Catfight bullshit drama....had several private clients (so that's three jobs in a week plus classes)....dealt with stupid dude dogs employee not coming to work drama....dealt with Siv's step-mother drama....spent Sunday with my friend Cyclops hanging around waiting for me to need him to get a shovel and bury some bodies for me....he was quite concerned that I may need bail money. Got up today to find I can't open the program that contains my text books...lovely, on FINALS WEEK I can't study!

Tech Support says it's the crappy software....have online copies of the books, but I've lost my notes...furthermore, now I can't study at home cuz I have a very shitty weak pirated wifi signal!

I'm in what I hope will be my last semester of college. It looks like I'll be going to Japan for a month this summer, so I'm trying to do better at my Japanese studies so I can a) graduate and B) survive in Japan.

Other than that, I've been playing World of Warcraft, hanging out with friends, dating a new girl, and generally finding unproductive ways to waste time.

A particular region of Japan, or a general tour?

Its like how Canadia is just all snow and ice and lumberjacks and hockey players. Japan is full of sushi eating ninjas. There is nothing else worth of value there.

We'll be in Kobe, but traveling all over the Kansai region to Osaka and Kyoto, as well as some smaller towns and historical sites. I plan to take at least one weekend to go up to Tokyo to visit some friends I have up there. I'd like to go to the other islands, but I doubt I'll have the time to do it between pre-arranged cultural trips, class, and my trip to Tokyo. We'll see, though.

I love the Kansai area. It feels like home to us when we travel. Kobe was fun city to wander around in, even if it was fairly metropolitan. The Hakatsuru sake museum tour is quite cool. And they give you sake after the tour, but only a glass. Some of the northern sake breweries - which are more stores than museums - will let you taste a lot more product. It sounds like the trip will be quite a lot of fun.

I've been hanging with my woman and doing school stuff, and moved again over the last few months. Now that things are stable I'm going to try to hang out here more often.

I started back at the University of Memphis in Fall '08 for Mechanical Engineering. At the ripe old age of 26, I'm a little more seasoned than my peers here, but it's going decently well.

It's a good song!

Are you the one around here who's into bellydancing, Sara? The chick I'm dating is a dancer so I'm just now getting exposed to it, it's pretty neat-slash-interesting.

Actually, I think there are several of us who are into that. I recently got a DVD (they are seemingly hard to find in some places) that I can practice to again. :)

Try going into Project Management while rolling up on 40! Not a soul in my age group with the same major in any of my classes.

Try wondering what the hell TLR is doing in Egypt. I'm still not fully used to there being a Memphis in Tennessee, or wherever that is :P
